The Twelveth Raku - konyu (1857-1932)
The first son of the Eleventh. Inherited the family headship in 1871, but due to a period of deterioration for tea ceremonies. There are very few works from when he was young, but he produced many works later in his life. He retired in 1919 and led an elegant life henceforth, going back and forth between his main residence in Kyoto and the villa of the Ninth in Ishiyama in the Shiga prefecture.
