This porcelain bowl, produced during the Yongzheng period of the Qing dynasty (1722–1735), is an exceptional example of imperial-style ceramics, showcasing superb decorative techniques and courtly aesthetics. The exterior is adorned with a pairing of five-clawed dragons and phoenixes, accompanied by flaming pearls and auspicious clouds—traditional symbols of imperial authority and good fortune—rendered in meticulous detail. The vibrant yellow glaze, historically reserved for imperial use, suggests that the bowl was intended for the court or high-ranking officials. In contrast, the interior is coated in a bright turquoise glaze, providing a striking visual interplay with the ornate exterior. On the base, a six-character underglaze blue mark reads "Da Qing Yongzheng Nian Zhi" (Made in the Yongzheng reign of the Great Qing), affirming its creation during the reign of Emperor Yongzheng. Porcelain from the Yongzheng period is celebrated for its refined forms and exquisite enamel painting, and this piece exemplifies those qualities with remarkable craftsmanship. The bowl is in excellent condition, free from chips or cracks, with vibrant enamels that remain beautifully preserved. It is a culturally significant work that embodies the elegance and authority of Qing imperial art.
