Born in Chiba Prefecture. Graduated from Ichihara High School. Studied under Kawamura Seizan and trained at Kamakura Kiln. Later built a kiln in Kozu, Odawara City. Selected for the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition. Awarded the Musashino Exhibition City Board of Education Prize. Grand Prize and Excellence Prize at the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition. Second prize at the Kanagawa Prefectural Exhibition. Solo exhibitions in major cities throughout Japan. Mainly celadon. Regular member of Japan Kogei Association.
