The Eleventh Raku - Keinyu (1817-1902)
The second son of the Ninth. He inherited headship of the family in 1811. Along with the Ninth of Omote Senke, he waited upon the Kishu Tokugawa family. Contributed to the development of the Kairakuen kiln. Afterwards he contributed to the establishment of the Nishonomaru Oniwayaki and Minato Goten Seineiken kiln. For these achievement he is bestowed the Raku name from Tokugawa Harutomi. His style incorporates elements of Oribeyaki, Igayaki and Setoyaki and is known to be virtuosic and flamboyant.
