This tea-leaf-colored glaze was developed around 1730 in the official kilns of the Qing dynasty (1616‐1912) and was actively used for court use until around 1795.
The bottom of the bottle is marked "Wanli era of the Ming dynasty," but in fact the mark was used out of habitual respect for Ming dynasty (1368-1644) pottery techniques.
