This bamboo tea scoop appears to be a work from a member of the Hisada family in the tea ceremony tradition. However, I was unable to identify the specific artist who created it.
Hisada School
The Hisada family, originally samurai, founded the Hisada school of tea ceremony. Sanufusa married Sen no Rikyu's sister, Soen, deepening their connection to tea. The family maintained close ties with the Sen family, starting with Fusemasa as the first head. Sosen established the foundation of Hisada-style tea, characterized by its unique practices and women's tea ceremony. Their tradition continues today, honoring their heritage and unique tea-making techniques.
