Matsubara Naoyuki (1938- )
He was born in Mashiko-town and studied under Ichiro Kimura.
After working as an assistant to Kazuo Yagi in Kyoto, he established the Yatake kiln in Mashiko-cho.
He creates works filled with the sense of folk art Mashiko.
He was awarded the Tochigi Prefecture Art Festival Prize, the International Ceramic Art Exhibition Encouragement Prize, etc.
