The Jizhou kiln was an old kiln located in Ji'an, present-day Jiangxi Province, China, and is a representative production site of Tortoiseshell patterned bowls of the Song Dynasty in China.
Tortoiseshell cups and tortoiseshell cups, also known as Jizhou Tenmoku in Japan, are famous for the double glazing of black and yellow glaze to create patterns.
There are also other artificial styles, such as leaf tenmoku.
The Jian ware of Fujian Province, which was also a production center of Tenmoku tea bowls, was a twin of the Jian ware of Fujian Province.
