Kaneshige Sozan (1909-1995)
Younger brother of the living national treasure Toyo, and after serving as an assistant, instructed the Oomoto Kameyama kiln and Tsuruyama kiln. Returned home in 1964 and started the Enzan kiln. Fired a work using the Momoyama style Hidasuki technique for the first time in an electric kiln for the first time in 1965. Started Ushigami lower kiln in Imbe in 1982. Prefectural important intangible cultural property. Held private exhibitions at Kochukyo and other venues.
