Antique Japanese transmutation glaze Teabowl #5300

I bought this piece on impulse because I fell in love with it at first sight, but I have yet to identify its maker or the period it was created. It appears to be quite old, with exposed pale grayish-white clay, a low foot, and a beveled foot rim. While it might be from China’s Song dynasty, the spiral motif on the foot is uncommon in Chinese ceramics, which leads me to believe it may actually be a Japanese work.
